WEDNESDAY JUNE 20: Think I got some decent sleep. Smudge to start the day. Seated
series Yoga. Meditate. True day of rest. Had a dentist appointment. Somehow
managed to tell the dentist the wrong side of my mouth where the pain was (Took
some Ibuprofen before the appointment, so the pain wasn’t all that bad at that
point.) so I ended up with a filling on my left side, and the return of lingering
pain on my right side later in the day. Really didn’t do much of anything else. Stopped eating by 8 pm, & began Partial Fast. Did some reading and
writing. Did walk Momo and Cutting
Practice. Iaijutsu Draw and Breathe-
Front, Mei only. Continued to ice shoulder and foot. Read to wind the night
down.
THURSDAY JUNE 21: Started day with Smudge. Partial Fast. Standing Series Yoga & Meditate. Dog Run to Townson Fitness. Trained one
person. Outdoor HIIT Functional Workout -
2 Giant Sets each of: Field Sprints with Jump Kip Dismounts x 10 with 20 Reps Push
Ups, Field Walk with Wide Leg Hanging Windshield Wipers(Rather than Standard
Hanging Windshield Wipers, you spread your feet wide and keep them wide as you
torque your Hips. This is a variation on a Grappling Exercise, but it also
takes the Hip Flexors out of the exercise and force you to use just the Hips,
Lower Abs and Internal Obliques. If you can’t do it from a hanging position,
try doing it Sitting Upright, Leaning Back and doing it for an Intermediate
version, or lying flat on your Back for a Beginner Version)/ Side Crossover
Field Sprints with 20 Reps Push Ups, with Hanging Side to Side Reverse Crunches
x 10 (Same as above. Try Seated or Lying if you can’t do the Hanging version),
with Backwards Field Walks, with Jump Kip Ups x 20. Dog Run Home. Lying Series Yoga & Meditation. Extended Stretching. Dog Run to Townson Fitness. Trained a
few more people. Pretty active with quite a few clients. Walk home to healthy
meals & hang out with Momo. Stopped eating by by 9 pm. Walked Momo with
light Iaijutsu Cutting Practice, with Footwork.
Iced shoulder. Old
movie to wind down.
FRIDAY JUNE 22: Friday was a true rest day for me. Slept in.
Took some like to lie in bed and just let my mind wander, like Descartes. Did smudge. Just read, did some writing and
rested. 3 servings of raw veggies. No junk. Stopped by 8 pm. Beginning of Fast.
Did walk Momo and do some light cutting
practice. Meditate and old Zatoichi movie to wind down.
SATURDAY JUNE 23: Pretty
rough night. Bad toothache kept waking me up. Very tired when I woke. Was
supposed to be another day off. Was supposed to go to Native Arts Festival.
Just couldn’t do it. Gave myself an antisocial day. Slept in. Did nothing but
watch TV all day. Did walk Momo with
Cutting Practice. Diet was crap. Day was crap. Even trainers have bad days.
Get back on the wagon tomorrow. Needed a day to just feel like crap and feel
sorry for myself.
