HUNTER OF CONFLICT




Coming together with Kèn:ri'ks, Lion, Hunter of Conflict is a an interesting sign. Conflict may speak of that Conflict within ourselves, which is always our greatest Conflict. It can also speak of the resolution of Conflict and turmoil. The Hunter is a seeker. One who must understand the Other in order to succeed. I was taught that True Hunting is never about killing. It is about the seeking and the understanding of the world around us. The Conflict that we must almost always resolve is the one within ourselves, which can never be resolved with the closing of our minds or our senses. For me, today, this sign speaks must strongly of seeking that path within myself that is most open to a relationship and a living in the world with others, particularly with those others who I do not know, do not understand, and have failed to seek peace and communion with.

There’s a sucker born every minute. Every single fucking minute. The wife doesn’t like it when I swear. She keeps a swear jar at home. I put money in every day even though we’re never going to have kids to give the money to. She’s a good woman. She’s entitled to her delusions, after all I put her through.
