JULES TRAINING & DIET DIARY STRENGTH AND STABILITY PHASE WEEK 4 JAN 24 – 27
“ Illness is the most heeded of doctors: to goodness and wisdom we only make promises; pain we obey.” Marcel Proust WEDNESDAY JAN 24 : Rest day. Slept in. Healthier eating. Did some shopping. Low energy. Didn’t do much except walk dogs. Not DOMS. Just very tired and worn out. Meditate and read to wind down. THURSDAY JAN 25 : Started day, as usual with a Smudge, Standing Series Yoga & Meditation. Dog run to Townson Fitness. (Note: At this point, in this phase, it’s more of a Dog Jog. I use back trails and with all the ice, mud and snow, and with my goal to reduce stress on my bodies, it tends to involve 4 or 5 jogs mixed in with a brisk walking pace.) Worked with trainees for a while, then finished the day with a Strength Based Stability Workout: Kettlebell Variations. Mostly with the Kettlebell held fully extended. Most of the exercises don’t even have names, but involved Upper Body and Core Based Stability and Slow Torque Work on the mat. About 45 minu
The Journeyer
Coming in conjunction with Akhsótha Rainbow Dancer, the Journeyer speaks to me of the spiritual Journey that I have been on and the many people who have shared and are sharing that Journey with me. And it is all of the people in my life, all of the people in my past, all of the Ancestors and all those people who are now in my life who make it possible for me to exist at all. And it is together with all of those people, joined in the Dance that is Existence, that makes this Life have meaning. Together we are strong. Together the colours make light. This Journey is only possible with the help, with the love, and with the good graces of others. It is our good fortune to make this Journey together. It is my good fortune to be joined by so many wonderful souls on this Journey. I am deeply thankful to them.
