Why Charles Lechmere WAS NOT Jack The Ripper.
Great interview. Small point. Occam's Razor actually states that no more assumptions should be made than are necessary. It literally refers to William of Occam using a razor, erasers didn't exist at the time, to erase anything that was an unnecessary assumption. Still works for your argument. We would use Occam's Razor to eliminate the assumption of Lechmere/Cross's arrogance. I myself remain an agnostic when it comes to suspects. But if you apply Occam's Razor strictly to the Lechmere/Cross theories, we can say they require too many assumptions. The reason I remain a suspect agnostic however is that, given the lack of hard evidence, all suspects require too many assumptions. The interview, and the book are very valuable in that they force us to ask questions about the theories, and about the assumptions. So, thank you for this.
